What is the Huntit MCP?

The Huntit MCP connects your Huntit data to Claude, the AI assistant your team may already use.

Once connected, Claude can read your winners, your intelligence briefs, your audience insights and your reports — and work with them right in the conversation: discuss, script, plan, compare.

What it actually changes

Without the connection, Claude knows nothing about your clients, your tracked profiles, or which posts actually performed.

With Huntit connected, it answers from your real data: the posts Huntit tracked, the fields its AI already read — hooks, transcripts, content groups — the Brief sections, and the audience's own objections and questions.

MCP stands for Model Context Protocol, an open standard AI apps use to connect to outside data. Huntit speaks it, and so do Claude and ChatGPT.

What a conversation looks like

Ask Claude "what worked for our client's competitors last month?" and it pulls the recent winners, reads their hooks and Briefs, then answers with specifics: which formats won, what the reusable moves were, what the audience kept asking for.

Then you keep going — "draft three script ideas in the same style, for our client's own brand."

Reading and acting

Most of what Claude does through Huntit is reading: searching posts, opening details, pulling Briefs and reports.

It can also take a few explicit actions when you ask — mark a post as favorite or reviewed, run an analysis, or look inside a post by having a video watched and described, or a carousel's slides read.

In Claude today you approve each action before it runs, and Huntit's own protections back that up: you're told before anything billable runs, analyses can't double-run, and nothing reachable from chat can delete anything. See actions from chat.

Who connects, and what it costs

Each teammate connects their own Claude. Sign-in uses the same email code as the portal, and access follows membership — someone who leaves the agency loses the connection with it. Connecting takes a few minutes.

Huntit charges nothing for the connection itself. Claude runs on your team's own Claude plan, and the few actions that generate analyses use your agency's own Gemini credits, at the same cents-level cost as running them in the app.
