What your usage costs
Settings → Billing & costs shows what your Huntit usage costs.
Because you bring your own keys, you pay BrightData, Apify and Google directly for what you use; Huntit only displays their published rates. Every figure here is an estimate — your provider dashboards are what you actually paid.
The panel has two views: "What it costs you" for the all-in figures, and "Provider rates" for the raw per-unit numbers.
Per tracked post
Every post that's found, AI-analyzed and tracked for 30 days lands in a per-post estimate, with nothing to click. It's small: roughly $0.004 to $0.025 per post, depending on the platform and, on Instagram, the format.
An Instagram reel sits at the top of that range: reels and carousels are re-checked by different sources, and finding a reel costs one extra read for the view count the first scrape doesn't return.
TikTok sits at the bottom: its check-ins are free, and so are YouTube's.
A "cost per 1,000 posts" table breaks each post into its stages — discovery, AI analysis, tracking, download — with every platform that prices its formats differently opening onto them.
The AI read was measured on real one-minute videos and scales with the clip's length; discovery and the tracking check-ins are flat per post. The scaling stops at the 5-minute AI limit: past it, no AI read runs at all.
Weekly profile refresh
Separately from posts, every profile you track has its own details — followers, bio, avatar — re-checked once a week.
That's about $0.0015 per profile per week, whatever the profile's post volume, and it shows as its own "Profile refresh" line.
Per action you run
Optional AI you trigger on a single post is priced per run:
- Intelligence brief — about $0.045.
- Custom analysis — about $0.033.
- Comments analysis — from about $0.03 to $0.54, depending on the platform and the depth you pick (50 / 100 / 200 comments). The platform matters more than the depth: reading a TikTok comment section is far cheaper than an Instagram one.
Where you pay
The panel links straight to the three billing dashboards you actually pay: BrightData, Apify and Gemini (Google AI Studio). YouTube isn't there on purpose — its Data API is free within a daily quota, so there's nothing to pay.
Apify runs on a flat $29/month plan that its usage draws from, with anything beyond it billed as you go. BrightData and Google are pay-as-you-go throughout.
Controlling your spend
Huntit puts no cap on your usage — no artificial limit on clients, brands or profiles. So the two real levers are both yours:
- Your provider limits set the ceiling: BrightData's auto-recharge and Gemini's auto-reload decide how much each account tops up and when — see BrightData funding rules. Apify has no auto-payment, so its monthly usage limit in Billing → Limits is your cap there.
- Pausing tracking stops new posts being picked up on a profile, a brand or a whole client. Posts already tracked finish their remaining check-ins, up to 30 days, so spend winds down over the following weeks rather than the moment you pause. See pausing tracking.
