Signing in — codes, no passwords
Huntit has no passwords. Enter your email on your agency's login page and Huntit emails you a 6-digit code — type it in and you're signed in.
Your first email from Huntit tells you that your portal is ready. It links to your agency's login page — request a code there and you're in, and a short setup wizard takes it from there.
The code never arrived
- Check your spam or junk folder — automated sign-in mail sometimes lands there.
- Give it a minute — the code is sent the instant you request it, though email can take a moment to land.
- Confirm the address — sign in with the exact email address your invite was sent to; a different one won't be recognized.
The code expired
Codes expire 10 minutes after they're sent, and each one works once. Request a fresh one. If a code is rejected, check for a typo — after a few wrong tries, resend for a new one.
"Couldn't send the code"
Occasionally the email can't be sent at all, and the login screen says so instead of confirming. Nothing is wrong with your address — wait a minute and request another code.
I requested several codes
Huntit sends only a few codes per hour to one address. If you've asked several times, wait before requesting another — the newest code is the one to use.
"You don't have access to this portal"
This means your email isn't a member of that agency. Portals are invite-only: someone at your agency has to add you, from Settings → Members & roles. Huntit support can't add you. See Members — inviting and removing teammates.
I work with two agencies
One email can belong to two agencies, each with its own portal at its own address, showing only that agency's data. Sign in at each agency's address separately.
