"Turn on scraping" — the activation moment
Once all four providers show Verified, the setup screen turns into one switch: "Turn on scraping."
Clicking it runs one last live check of your BrightData account, then activates discovery, tracking, and AI analysis for your whole agency. From then on, Huntit collects on its own.
Why it's a switch, not automatic
Flipping scraping on starts real collection on your paid provider accounts. That's a decision you make on purpose, not something Huntit does for you. The panel says it plainly:
One switch left: turning scraping on activates discovery, tracking, and AI analysis for your agency. From then on, Huntit collects on its own.
The last live check
A funded account is the thing most likely to have changed while you worked through setup, so the button re-checks your BrightData balance the moment you click. The panel promises it up front: "One last live check of your BrightData account runs before we switch on."
It's a live check rather than a remembered one, so it knows what the account holds now, not what it held two screens ago.
- Funded, and scraping activates.
- Under $10 in balance and credit, and the switch does not flip. You land back on the BrightData card with the message to make your first deposit. Top it up, come back, and try again — see BrightData funding rules.
Pressing it again is safe
After a hiccup, a reload, or a setup you came back to later, pressing "Turn on scraping" again can't double anything or leave the account half-switched. If something fails on Huntit's side, the panel says so and offers Request support.
Once it switches on, your feed starts filling as posts are found — see the 30–60 minute wait for what the first hour looks like.
