What tracking your client's own brand unlocks in reports

A report works fine with only competitors and inspiration brands tracked: it reads the client's market.

Track the client's own brand as well and the report gains their whole side of the story — it becomes "your brand against the market" rather than just "the market". You're never blocked without it. You simply get less.

What opens up

Adding the client's own profiles unlocks their side of every section:

  • The Followers curves — one card per client-owned profile, showing that profile's growth within the report period. This block appears only for the client's own profiles.
  • Their win rate on the leaderboard — the client's own brand renders as a ranked row (first, tagged "Your brand"), so the client sees exactly how they convert against the market.
  • Their share of voice — the client's share of the market's video views, on the cover and the leaderboard.
  • The "Your winners" gallery — the client's own standout posts, with the strongest leading at full width beside its growth chart.
  • The blind spots (Quarterly report) — themes, formats, and platforms the market wins with that the client's posting doesn't cover. This read needs the client's own output to compare against.

What you see without it

With no client-owned profiles tracked, those cells read "—", and the client preview carries an honest line in place of a gap: "Your own profiles aren't tracked yet, so this report reads your market only." No empty prompts reach the client.

In agency view you see something else — a teacher card naming what adding the client's own brand would unlock. That guidance is for you, not for them: Huntit guides, it never forces. See why add your client's own brand for the fuller case.

It takes effect from the next report

Adding the client's own brand now won't fill in a report that already generated. That one is frozen at generation and reads the market only.

Their side appears from the next period's report onward, once their own posts are being tracked.
