"Calibrating · N of 30" — when badges unlock

Before Huntit can badge a profile's posts, it needs enough of that profile's own history to know what strong looks like. That floor is 30 posts. Until a profile reaches it, its calibration panel shows a Calibrating · N of 30 meter instead of badges — for example Calibrating · 27 of 30.

This is normal for any newly added profile, not an error.

The moment the profile crosses 30 posts, calibration finishes and badges appear. Huntit also looks back over the posts already collected and badges the ones that qualify — you do not lose the early winners just because they arrived before the profile was ready. This back-fill runs on its own; there is nothing to trigger.

Each axis clears that floor on its own. Reach counts the posts with a public view count, Engagement the ones whose likes and comments came through.

So a profile that hides its likes can badge on Reach while the panel reads No thresholds yet — 12 of 30 measurable posts against Engagement. Once that axis has its own 30 the note becomes Sets at the next weekly calibration, and when the thresholds land the back-fill covers its past posts too.

Can I speed it up?

Not directly. What matters is how many of the profile's own posts Huntit has collected in the recent window, and that fills in as posts are gathered.

Choosing a deeper history depth when you add a profile pulls in more past videos at once, which can get the video pool over the line faster; every other pool always takes its last 50 — see what happens when you add a profile.

A profile can also drop back into calibrating if it falls below 30 eligible posts — older ones aging out of the 12-month window on a profile that has gone quiet, for instance.

Badges already earned stay exactly where they are; nothing is ever taken back. What pauses is new badging, and it starts again on its own once the pool recovers, with the back-fill running over anything it missed.

A pool with nothing left in the window carries no meter at all. The panel reads No videos in the last 12 months — badges resume once new videos come in, naming whatever that pool collects — posts, videos, carousels or photos — and the chip still says Calibrating.

The confidence labels

Once a profile is calibrated, the panel replaces the meter with a plain-language confidence label that tells you how much history the threshold is built on. More posts means a steadier threshold. There are four labels you'll see:

• Low confidence — just past the 30-post floor. The threshold works, but it is drawn from a small sample, so it will move more as new posts come in.
• Growing confidence — a healthier sample; the threshold is settling.
• Moderate confidence — a solid amount of history behind the threshold.
• High confidence — a large sample; the threshold is very stable.

The label is transparency about sample size, nothing more. A Low confidence badge is a real badge — it just rests on less history than a High confidence one. As a profile keeps posting, its label climbs on its own.

One honest note on how the labels behave: they describe reliability from here on. A badge already earned is frozen and never changes when the label climbs — see a badge only upgrades — it never drops. Growing confidence makes the badges on later posts steadier; it never re-judges the ones already stamped.
