When an analysis fails
When an intelligence brief, comments intelligence, or custom analysis doesn't complete, the modal shows a plain card that names what happened and offers a Try again — except for one firm block, where retrying is greyed out because it cannot help. The cards fall into four groups.
Retryable — just try again
These are transient. The Try again button is live; a retry usually clears them.

Couldn't reach the comments — only sometimes retryable
"Couldn't reach the comments" (Comments only) means the scrape came back with nothing to read. Three causes look identical here: a passing provider problem, a post with no comments, or comments that can't be read publicly.
Only the first clears on a retry, and each attempt spends another comment scrape on your Apify account. Check the post on the platform before trying again.
Fix first — retrying alone won't help
These heal only once you fix the underlying account. The Try again stays available, but it won't succeed until the billing side is sorted.

Locked — a firm content block

A "No usable comments yet" card is a different thing entirely, and not a failure: the scrape worked, the section just had too little to analyze. See comments intelligence.
These cards are about the analyses you run yourself. When the automatic read fails on a post, the post names its own reason — see AI discovery.
A video over the 5-minute AI-analysis limit never reaches a failure card: the brief and custom analysis aren't offered on it at all, and a short note takes their place. Comments intelligence still runs there — it reads the comments, not the video.
No failed run counts toward your monthly usage, so a retryable card is safe to retry.
On the AI provider's side it depends on how the run failed. A provider error or a timeout costs nothing.
A run the AI refuses on content grounds has already read the post before refusing, so it can use a little of your Gemini credit. That's the honest reason Huntit locks retry on a firm content block — there's nothing to gain by paying twice.
