Running an analysis — while it runs, and re-running

When you start an intelligence brief, comments intelligence, or custom analysis, the modal shows a small spinner and a single line of status text that advances as the work moves — "Watching the video," "Reading the hook," "Almost done." It usually takes a minute or two.

You do not have to wait on the screen. Close the modal and come back — the analysis keeps running, and the result will be waiting when you reopen the post. Comments intelligence puts it plainly: "This usually takes a minute or two. You can close this and come back — the analysis will be waiting."

Honest status, never a fake bar

The status text is real staging, not a percentage. Huntit never shows a progress bar creeping toward 100% — a bar like that would be inventing a number it doesn't have. Instead you get calm, ordered status lines that hold on "Almost done" until the result lands.

Comments intelligence has two phases here: it first shows lines about reaching and pulling the comments, then switches to lines about analyzing them the moment real comments arrive — so the copy never claims to be analyzing before there is anything to analyze.

If it seems stuck

A run isn't truly stuck just because it's taking a while — a longer video simply takes longer.

But Huntit won't leave you on an endless spinner either. If a run genuinely stalls, after a few minutes it flips to a Try again card, and the next run clears the stalled one on its own. Find a Try again card where you expected a result, and all you do is run it again.

Re-running replaces what was there

Each of the three analyses keeps only its latest result on a post. Regenerating a Brief, or re-running Comments or Custom, replaces what was on screen.

There's no version history to browse, and an old brief can't be brought back once you've regenerated over it.

When a post already has a result, the entry button reads Read brief or Read analysis and opens the reader.

The re-run control sits in the reader's header — Regenerate for a Brief, Re-run for Comments and Custom — never on the entry card. That keeps the entry point one calm button, and puts the "do it again" action next to the result it will replace.

For comments intelligence, a re-run always routes back through the comment-depth panel first, so you re-pick 50 / 100 / 200 each time rather than silently reusing a cap.

Only successful runs count

Each run hits your provider accounts, so this one matters: only runs that finish with a Success count toward your monthly usage.

A failed run, a "No usable comments" result, or a run you abandon doesn't move the counter. Retrying a failed run is safe — when an analysis fails covers what each kind of failure costs.
