The four providers and what each powers

Huntit uses four providers, and all four are required. Each one carries a different part of finding, tracking, and analyzing content — if one lapses, that part stops. Only three of them cost money; the YouTube key is free.

BrightData

Finds new posts on every platform, re-checks Facebook reels and Instagram carousels, and refreshes every profile's stats weekly — the account Huntit leans on hardest.

It has to stay active and funded, with auto-recharge on: if it runs dry or gets suspended, collection stops, and the posts published while it was down are gone for good. The signup walkthrough covers the account itself.

Apify

Post tracking and comment analysis. Apify needs a paid plan — Starter or higher — and a free-plan key is refused during setup rather than stored. If the plan lapses back to free later, the work that depends on it stops until you re-pay. See getting your Apify key.

Google Gemini

All of Huntit's AI analysis. Gemini needs billing set up and credits actually bought — a free key can't run the models Huntit's analyses use, where the free quota is zero.

If the credits run out, AI analysis stops while new posts keep arriving; they wait unanalyzed until you top up.

The Gemini walkthrough covers the order that matters: billing before the key.

YouTube Data API

YouTube Shorts tracking. This one is free: it runs inside Google's daily quota, which resets on its own, so there is no billing step and no deposit to make. See getting your YouTube Data API key.

All four stay required

Every platform is live the moment you add a profile there, so all four keys stay required even if you never track a particular platform today. Because the YouTube key is free, there is no cost reason to skip it — connecting it just keeps every platform ready.
